About Us

The Institute for International Development of DUAL VET Education (hereinafter called DUAL VET Foundation) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that develops and accredits programs in computing and engineering technology worldwide. We are specialized in establishing and/or transforming public VET schools and VTC’s into DUAL VET schools. Our accreditation provides assurance that a DUAL VET School program meets the quality standards of the profession.

The mission of our organization is to internationally promote Swiss – German – and Austrian DUAL TVET Model, by implementing and supporting the successful transformation of public VET schools and VTC Centers to ICT Centers of Competences (ICT CoC). The DUAL VET Foundation is financed by renowned European-and International ICT companies with the aim to create skilled ICT workforce worldwide.

The member organizations of DUAL VET Foundation provide continuous experience and support, which ensures the sustainability of ICT CoC’s and the DUAL VET Foundation Network. Currently we have two office in Graz (Austria) and Bern (Switzerland) and are in the process of setting up our office in Germany as well.

Our services

We cover all facets of programme provision for successful transformation of schools to DUAL VET ICT Center of Competences (ICT CoC), among which most important are:

  • Development and maintenance of occupational standards;
  • Development and maintenance of curricula in accordance with the needs of labour market;
  • Development of learning plans and state-of-the-art Teaching- and Learning Materials;
  • Implementation of DUAL TVET Model;
  • Capacity Development and Teacher Training and Certification;
  • Establishment of Apprenticeship Model based on renowned Swiss DUAL VET with strong local and international employer engagement;
  • Accreditation of ICT VET Schools and VTC Centers;
  • Assessment of learning outcomes and certification of ICT CoC graduates with internationally recognized diplomas;
  • Establishment of Entrepreneurship Training and Development Center (ENTRADEC);
  • Pedagogical and Didactical Co-Management of the ICT CoC for a minimum period of ten years
  • Establishment and management of third learning place (according to Swiss DUAL VET), the so-called inter-company vocational and training center (hereinafter called IC-VTC).

DUAL VET Foundation Programmes

The DUAL VET Foundation Programmes cover the full range of ICT programmes offered by VET schools and TVET Training Centers, from ISCED Level 4 to ISCED Level 6.
